In the second pic, see that stick caught up under the bike? All was well until I put the bike up on the centre stand. Stick dug in and punched the lower centre fairing piece foward, breaking a few of the screw points. Doesn't matter tho, the whole fairing still holds together in the rough.
Wow...neat pic of the landscape....how far from where you live is this? Kinda like our prairies but much vaster. And I remember your video of riding on a snowy road in a mountain range. Would that be close by to this area? Love to go those outback parts one day.
Only Ozland we experienced was visiting our daughter and her husband in Brisbane ...that is a beautiful place. They have since moved back to Canada where he's practising family medicine. It was a tough decision to leave Australia....I think they may go back once their young family grows up. My son in law did all his medical training in Australia. But the call of the family ties was too strong at this time of their lives but, one day, they may do it....they talk about their Ozzy friends and country a lot. They like you guys.
And the RS cum GS...love it....GSPD would be proud of ya....
By the way, wonder whatever happened to GSPD? .....would be worth a thread. I still have his email address I think. I communicated with him when going through Montreal on a Maritimes trip...never did get a chance to meet him though. Would have been fun. I had cleaned my bike from head to toe in great anticipation but things/time got in the way of meeting on the trip.

Hey Moosehead, that's about 800 k's away from home, but I can be in the same shit a lot closer.
The snow is about 800-1000 k from the pic, 200 k the other way from home.
I'm still in awe at 51 at what this country is. The perpetual 180 meditation, it does things to ye'
Waiting for GSPD is like waiting for the second coming. He was my favourite to tease. (even though I teased FH more.)

Ah, quote alignment interaction button was off.
Yeah, it's amazing what lies within our own respective country's borders....and best way to find and appreciate what's out there is on 2 wheels! Been fortunate to have travelled from our west coast to the east in my 2 wheels travels and am always amazed what is to be discovered. Only place I haven't been is to the north...not too many roads up there other than mainly from BC to Alaska area...maybe one day. Going to Newfoundland again with one of my sons or maybe both and that is always breathtaking both the scenic beauty but mostly for the Newfoundlanders themselves....hopefully we can do it this summer.
