This is my grandson Rowan. I went up to Yellowstone this time hoping to bond more with this little guy who I don't get to see on a regular basis.
I had a friend take a picture of me on the bike when I got back.
In this shot, I was trying to show the texture of the hills in the background.
This is a river that is not far from the West Yellowstone entrance to the park. In several spots there were people fly fishing in the middle of the river in waders. "Wader, I'll have the trout."

Not seeing the river pic, but is it the Gallatin River? Great spot if so. We did a Yellowstone road trip a few years ago and camped a few days right on the river about halfway between YNP and Bozeman. My parents and brother came West from NH and my brother spent nearly every waking minute catching and releasing.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
[quote="melville"]Nice pic of you and the grandson!

Then you drove right past where my daughter lives. They live in Gardiner, Mt. We have canoed parts of the Yellowstone river. Every time we've seen a moose or a few of them.
The last pic has a river in the background. I don't think it is the Gallatin.

The 'wader' pun was appalling - well done, mate.
The third and fourth pics aren't showing here.
The pics were there yesterday. I'll try to fix that tonight. They were the shots of Yellowstone park and were the original intent (actually, I motelled it) of the post.

Beargrass!?! I wasn't smokin' anything but I did have a couple glasses of wine.
