I just looked in here after not looking in "Pictures" for a couple weeks. The RS isn't a living room bike. I'll be taking it on a trip to Yellowstone starting tomorrow morning.

The wooden crank brace is made from some really thick plywood that I rescued. As with most wooden fabrication, I started with a piece of wood and whittled away the parts that weren't needed. In person, the finish is very functional and not at all furniture like. I'm glad it serves its purpose as well as it does and that I've had occasion to use it twice.
