My google search says it's a Model O, a 257cc inline opposed twin. When complete, it would look like this:

The engine clamps to doubled bottom tubes from above and the trans to those same tubes from below. I've got the hot sweaties for this one. It might be fun to just build a frame for it using random vintage lightweight MC bits or even modern mountain bike bits. As the seller wanted $5K ("It turns over!") for just the bits you see here it's all academic for me. He still had it at the end of the day that I saw.
