Why did the beemer have the tank off, and was the hearse the recovery vehicle?

Love the little Duc!
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Me too :!:
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

I was giving fuel to my friend with the ducati. He opted out of a rural 87 octane suspect fuel depot, after which we did a couple hours into a strong headwind. His gas mileage was greatly diminished....

We joke around about the beemers being the "super tankers".

I have a mate on a GS with a 41 litre touratech tank. He gets 'supertanker' often.
He has modified the fuel delivery system so as to be able to pump from the tank into others.
