This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Peter, the bloke that owned the BSA Thunderbolt, said he had a R100T. He was going to ride it on their ride, but the battery was flat!

Oh well. Them's the breaks. His Beezer had this sticker on the fork leg. Any knowledge of such stickers from youse blokes in the USA?

I think I took a total of 5 photos the whole trip!

I posted a few of them over in the airheads photo thread on adv,

just another angle of the 'line up'

and then this awesome photo that I spotted on the wall behind me after dinner-
I got an interesting PM telling me it might be Alf and Maija's daughter and her husband who travelled the world on this bike?
Jeff, do you know the story?

Hi y'all,
Got home this arvo after bedding down at Benalla o/night.
Many thanks to Jeff for coordinating a fantastic w/end, and thanks to all others who attended for contributing to a most excellent time - Ken excluded (not really, of course!). Good roll up of airheads IMO, hopefully we can look forward to increasing the numbers in future?
Interesting ride home with the changeability inherent in the season - humidity, heat, drizzle, rain, wind, and damp coolness were my experiences yesterday. After an uneventful, but fun return ride w Steve & Hans I changed direction at Merton, just as the weather started to come in with some serious dampness (rain). I cooled my hoops there for about 1/2 hr till the worst of it passed before tracking west over the range. (While at Merton servo spoke to HD rider who was nabbed speeding at the Spur by LAZER and cops in various locations, according to him - prolly a good idea to maintain your circumspection when hitting that road on sunny, warm, w/end days.) Stopped at Polly McQuinn's where i caught a couple a small reddies... followed w uneventful but fun run through the Strathbogies to f/way and to Benalla.
Today was a fair-dinkin beauty of a spin along some very interesting roads - Benalla-Mansfield-Jamieson-Eildon-Taggerty-Spur-Toolangi-Kinglake-Whittlesea-Wallan-Romsey-Gisbourne-Bacchus Marsh-Home... sunny, warm (but not hot), no wind (til the last ~20ks), fan-bloody-tastic!!
OK, so I've got a bunch of pic to post... please bear with me as my energy levels are plummeting - will attempt this upload tomorrow.
thanks again, fellow airheads!

Great report Pete, always count on you to come on a ride ....
Glad to hear we've all made it home ok. (even Ken)

Please don't thank me for anything, I only rang the pub. 'We/us mob' made the weekend.

Regards the GS Hans, I've only been told a few times over twenty years who it was. Now I'll have to go back to Tintaldra to find out.
