Gidday Fellas,

Now I read about pinstriping and linework our bike tanks, fairings and bits and pieces around here from time to time and to be honest bike work is something that I have never really gone looking for or advertised in my field of work, but maybe one day I will line up my own bike when it gets a respray down the track who knows??, but I absolute love lining and scrolling up trucks, new and old, big and small, to the point where I have a very restless sleep the night before with excitement, it drives my wife a little crazy sometimes, yes its sounds silly I know but I really enjoy throw'in some graphics and lines on a plain truck especially when the owner drives in his new $300,000 truck and says the magic words "I'll leave it up to you, you know what ya doing".... Bloody hell I never get to sleep when I hear that!!

Sorry to bore you but here are a few pix of some jobs, the first one I just finished today and are waiting on it's new matching 10m long aluminum quad trailer from Melbourne to be backed into the shed to signwrite up and complete over the weekend, I have four of them to do over the next couple of weeks......

The 'new thing' here is printing whatever the customer wants on white vinyl and wrapping the whole vehicle with it.
It looks like an actual photo was printed on the car or truck.
Seems to follow compound curves quite well.
Have you started doing this type of stuff yet?

How about striping an Aurion. What would you do?

No problems Steve, but I'm not to sure that your wife would like the big BMW Roundel on the back quarter panels and also the letter "RS JPS" with reflective outline fading from black thru to gold across the front guard and up over the hood..

Yes its getting very effective in Oz but has been here for about 5-6 yrs now although fading of the print is an issue with the sun's UV's down here, 3 yrs outdoor life generally

Kenworths & Macks have been around for many years in Oz and have been very popular, certain industries like certain makes and models over here as alot of the logging contractors like the Kenworths and yes they have that "manly, blokey" tuff thing about them which all the young truckie "cowboy" types love.....
But over the last 5 years or more the European stuff like Volvos, Benz, DAF, MAN, are all becoming increasing popluar for the comfort of the ride towards the drivers.
Big corporations like our massive supermarket chain COLES used to have all Kenworths then switched over the Volvo and now are going over to a mixure of DAF and Volvo, I know one of the drivers and the European gear winners hands down with smoothness and quietness in the cabin and also reliability.....BTW a delivery driver for the large supermarket chains gets $80,000 per year just to drive, theres no loading or unloading, very hard to get into as they generally take family first from pervious employee's, his son works there as well......
