I was just thinking, you all might like to see some other random photos of Hawaii I've taken over the years. I'm pretty sure I haven't shown these here before. Don't forget to click on the picture to see the full view! Let's start with the north end of the island, Kohala Mountains. My place is downhill to the left, on the outskirts of Kamuela. The field in the foreground was a military base back in WWII.

This derelict shack is located on a lava flow deep in south Kona.

This abandoned coffee shack is located in Captain Cook. The second photo was taken back in the late 1970s, when it was still occupied. I wanted those factory louvered windows on the Bus so BAD! Sadly, I think this van went to the dump, after serving as a non running home for many years.
