You could also ask him to check the number himself via http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi

Whilst not as convincing as doing it yourself, it might be useful...

After much navel gazing and contemplation I have moved on.

The main reason that I was casting around looking for another bike, was as a replacemnet for my /5 winter bike. There is no way I would ride an R90S on the salty winter roads, so it would become another mouth to feed, unless I sold my single or conversion, and that was not going to happen, soooooo.......

So I was surfin craigslist in the area and this R90S has reapeared.

I've just converted £4500 to GBP and if that bike was over here for that money people would get trampled in the rush.

Come on you guys, I'm trying to forget I saw that add, quit draggin it back up to the top.

It would cost less than the kitcken renos I'm doin right now. Heck it would be less than the fridge and stove. :?

Maybe I can have the electrcian put it on his bill. :twisted:

Buy it, you won't lose any money on it....... I reckon that with a bit of cosmetic work you could double the money on it, at least that's what you tell your partner.....
