Some people take pictures while they mc-travel.
I store images in my head and paint what remains.
Being a child of the fossil-fuel generation,
and having the misfortune to witness it's demise,
I tend to be nostalgic.

Awesome, Vanzen. I paint too, not much, but when I do, it's very relaxing.

Vanzen, my external drive locked up a month ago with all the tonnage of jpegs, some of which are photos of some paintings I've done. I do have backups on disc, but....someday, I'll buy a new drive and up-load the tonnage of images.
For now, this computer art image is of two photos I took. One is of a look down shot a couple feet above a little hill country stream with fall foliage. The second shot is of a face sculpture done by Ken's neighbor Ingrid. I merged the two and added a number of digital effects. I call it "Autumn Reflections". (right click to view image)

Met Ingrid and saw her home, art, sculpture ... truly impressive.

But your photo – Now that's what I'm talkin' about !

It is solid evidence that there is so much more here than meets the road or the keyboard.

Very nice Vanzen.
I'm jealous of people who can do that.
I can draw straight lines, with a ruler, and that's it.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Artists get all the hot (intelligent) chicks. (As opposed to what rich fat-cats get...)

Good stuff, guys. Even you, Jeff.
