Hey! Can't see those wheel bolts!
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

wheel bolt update

I did purchase 4 BMW auto lug bolts.
As it turns out, the cones, although the same taper,
are a slightly smaller diameter at the big end than those used on the BMW MC.
Consequently the over-all length will need to be shortened
by a couple of MMs in order to be used.

The rear wheel is currently on it's way to Denver.
When Woody's is done with their work and the wheel returns to the Schoolhouse,
the bolts will get the attention they need.

Lookin' good, Vanzen! My project is a bit on hold at the moment but parts are safely tucked away. After 3 years of post-divorce renting I am at my wit's end and am on the hunt to buy a place with a shop already built. Then the toy craft will resume!

BMW/Akront tubeless 2.50-18" rim from the front of an R100R,
Paralever hub from a GS machined to fit the mono FD ...
Woody's Wheel Works spoked them together with 8g SS spokes.

Is it a 110/80/18? or 110/90/18?
Reckon I'll try an Avon am26 rear next. Few more dollars than my favourite Mac50 but thaere are no Macs left  I haven't found anything else that performs and wears as good as a Mac50.
