Re: Problems posting

I have disabled Cloudflare due to the issues you and Rob Valdez have had. Probably others too that we have not heard about. Apparently in order for phpBB to work successfully under the Cloudflare VPN, special software has to be installed on the forum. So for now, we are once again wide open to bots.

Re: Problems posting

Rob, sorry to hear you are still having problems. What device and browser are you using?

I did some Googling on this. Changed a Cloudflare setting that has to do with SSL based on some suggestions I found. Please clear your Boxerworks cookies and cache:

Re: Problems posting

Rob, we have been having some issues with bots jamming up the site again.

I had to implement Cloudflare on Boxerworks in an attempt to keep the bots at bay. There may be some glitches that happen as a result. I would try clearing the Boxerworks cookies and cache:

Re: Sad news....long time forum poster Ken Clevenger passed away

I am very sad to hear this news. This place just isn't the same without him around (and many others who we don't hear from anymore).

I was lucky I went to the last Boxerworks rally that was ever held at Ken's in May 2013.

As ZM says, the parade only goes in one direction. But why does it have to ...

Re: High number of views for newish posts

I would prefer not to lock it down, that's for sure. But if we keep having denial of service problems then might have to do so. We'll leave it as is for now. And I will investigate Cloudflare, but of course it would cost more money. Also if the forum had to be moved to a new host to support using ...

Re: High number of views for newish posts

Thanks for that ME, I had not noticed.

Maybe we will have to require a login to access all forums then. For a long time it's been that one can view the post '70 Airheads and other forums without having to login. But due to the denial of service problems we've been having, perhaps we will have to ...

Re: Forum Access?

Yes Kurt, the forum has been struggling for a while due to too many connections at the same time. We are only allowed 30 connections at the same time, which is really not that many. Seems that we may have a denial of service attack randomly hitting boxerworks. Not sure what to do about it. I ...
