From a post on ADVRider by Zundappuk: Vorchdorf Motorrad Museum
I was returning to Vienna airport from Salzburg following some business meetings in Austria last week. After driving for about 1.5hrs I saw one of those brown cultural signs on the side of the motorway. It said "Vorchdorf Mottorrad Museum" so naturally I exited the motorway and followed the signs. Some 5 km later I came across a farm to which the last sign pointed. It had a large modern farmhouse, a large barn and a large modern egg production plant. On the front of the older barn there was a sign that confirmed that this was indeed the museum. By the front door a small plate declared in German: Open every day May to October 11:00 to 17:00. I tried the door, it was locked. Then I noticed an intercom, so I pressed the call button, all I got back was an engaged tone. I tried this several times with the same result and became dis-heartened. Then I had a bright idea, I looked up their website on my phone, found a telephone number and called it. An older chap answered in German that he could see me, and if I gave him a few minutes he would come over. Five minutes later he emerged in food production whites, and unlocked the doors and bid me to follow. He said "as most tourist were only coming at weekends now he hadn't bothered to open, but I was welcome (after paying to enter) to take my time, and yes photos are allowed. Great I thought, shouldn't take long as it cannot be that big as only the upper floor is the museum. I asked if they were his, and yes was the answer. Self restored? Again yes.

So here are the pictures, apologies for the quality I only had my mobile phone camera!

There's just about one of every motorcycle BMW made, including several R32 (including one cut away version), Rennsport racers and what looks to be Ernst Henne's Land Speed Record bike... WOW!

I love the generator. Valve adjustments would be SO easy!
