OMFG!

I hated that song when it was on the radio, and now, like a train wreck I just listened to it in its entirety... and those mostly cracker females singing and gyrating...

It would be a great video with different music and cut out the parts with the girls in it.

:ugeek:

That bike is almost kind of "Bobber". It could be converted.

Now, I'd like to propose that if Rob Valdez still had a proper BMW Airhead motorcycle, he could/would name it "Robin" in honor of that song.

I'm picturing Valdez riding along, wondering if there's any oil in the tranny but having a stronger, more strongly felt thought. From deep within his subconscious, as the first tight curve approaches, his conscious thought is of how happy he is that he has Hippo Hands and fiberglass leg guards, but down in his subconscious, there comes a honey smooth voice singing "Fly, Robin, fly." He's feeling it. He's feeling it. "My bike is Robin" He doesn't think that, it's just there. He leans and he makes the turn. Gaining confidence that makes him feel even more connected, no,more than that; part of the bike, he anticipates the next turn and it is almost as if a second voice and a strong bass line comes from the twin cylinders and they harmonize.."Up, up to the sky". A few chord changes later, he emerges from the twisties a new man. A new man who conquers curves with fully orchestrated songs from his subconscious and a cool old BMW Airhead. But no. Rob has a new bike. A scooter named Rukus. Rob's a bad boy.

Chuey............that was meant with reverential respect.

I LOVE it!
I just got it back from the dealer for it's 600 mile tune-up. Ex. valves OK, intake took a shim or two.

I have been on vacation all this week, and I have spent most of this time getting to know it in the garage.
I stripped off most of the body work so that I could install my Fiamm horns and put a rock shield over the radiator.
I also installed my accessory outlet from the R65 and ran a hot wire to the GPSr mount. The requisite fuse block was installed, as well. I have not gotten my Lubeman installed, yet.

I tried to install my Hyperlites, but I think I fried the control unit. :(

But, it is all back together, now. I tested the heated vest, and it warms up nicely! I don't have to be back at work until Wed. evening, so I may get my overnight trip in, yet!

PS - a seat cushion like the Butt Buffer is a requirement on this bike.

Oh wow; I'd gotten the impression that you'd given up on riding altogether. How glad I am to be mistaken! :D

$3995 out the door, Veg. I understand tall people are comfortable on them, too.
They will get up to 75mph quickly, and then gradually work their way up to the 90s, using 5th gear and tucking.

New colors for 2013!
