As a few argue about on that page, it brings up a real question: is removing the rear fender, putting on a very stock-like exhaust, painting the entire bike flat black, and putting different tires on it, really live up to the title of creating a unique "custom" motorcycle? Factually, it doesn't seem like it should, but, when you look at the bike, it certainly seems unique. I'm not sure I know the answer myself.

In my eyes, it is not a custom bike. It is a primer job.
The point for me is that it lacks substance and originality. Mostly substance. So they painted it flat black. In the bicycle world, we have had a recent fad of "fixies". I like them, I like the people who have them. A lot of them are "murdered out". It shows absolutely no imagination in my opinion. For me, it shows the opposite of imagination.

Yeah, I'll admit, the only thing that makes it look "unique" is the fact that this treatment that gets done to all sorts of current bikes has now been done to one you wouldn't expect. That doesn't really rate very high on the imagination meter.

But it's still nicely done.
And it's not a conversion!

I'd like to see a raked and extended Earles front end. Now
that would be an accomplishment!
