Alps memories

The tour company sent me an E-mail with a link for photos they had taken last June 2011. I had posted a few of my own, but for some reason was unable to take photos of myself. Nice thing for them to send on this very wet late December evening. The sent hundreds! Here's a few:

I like that bike. Too bad I didn't win the one they gave away in Redmond.

The dude with the mustache is Andy Kaufman's alter ego, I can't remember his name. He somehow survived Andy's death, to the surprise of very few.

Yea I had my fingers crossed too.

For that ride it was an excellent bike. Everyone else rented GS1200's. They only had the one F800R. If I needed a road only ride I'd buy one. Naked bikes don't seem to hold value, and the F800R is not a big seller. With only 88 hp, it's just not that sexy on paper. At 400 pds it has good performance and is practical. Who wants a street bike that doesn't have a center stand for instance?
