Full screen, almost looks like he's swimming through the air. "If played in real time this clip would take two seconds":

A really amazing thing about the flight of Owls, is that they are totally silent in flight.

True, that. One night a few years back, I was open air camping with my dog, and I woke up to him growling. I looked at him and saw he was looking straight up. There was a big owl hovering 8 feet above us in a light breeze. No sound, but the owl then proceeded to take a huge dump, missing my head by inches!

He was aiming for the dog?

They are the original
stealth bomber.
The first time a rodent hears an owl is when it hits him.

I don't know if "aiming" was involved, but it was closer to me! I'm glad he didn't decide to try and catch the round furry creature with the two big eyes (me)...

That was nice, though it looks as though it killed the camera.
When I was about 12 I was sitting on a guard rail post along an empty road in the middle of a full moon-lit night outside of Pendleton, Oregon when a great horned owl came gliding in toward me. I was watching it until it came without about 10 feet of me and it was obvious it was going to land on my head. I waved my arms and startled it off (OK, I was cringing away!), but even with the drastic course corrections it had to make, I never heard a sound from it. I decided that the owl must be my totem animal just in case anybody ever wants to know.

Fed a baby owl for a day that had fallen a few feet out of its nest. The little guy was two big eyes set in a downy ball of feathers. Was glad things got back to normal for him and momma owl when he was put back into the nest.
Pretty cool pet owl video....

Beautiful footage. (talonage?)
I have about 4 different owls near my home.
They're pretty messed up though, I once saw a barn owl land in my garage.
