I am suitably impressed. I think Givi makes some real nice equipment.
I hear that Kappa is exactly the same stuff, just a change in badge. Zat So?

I knew nothing about Kappa until you mentioned it.
When I Googled it, it appeared to be Givi product (guess not). A nice looking side opening bag, with much more useful space at 31 (?) liters.

I can't even find the K33N on their website.

Their Amazon store is another story! I see they even offer a copy (or resale) of the E21.

Unless that is what you were talking about all along. In which case (ha ha), it is only marginally cheaper than the Givi brand. ($9)

I'm amazed how difficult it is to see the products on the home site for these products.

Sorry guys I hadn't realized that I didn't have the correct link for the Happy trails. If you like you can see them now.

Did you find the K-bags on their website? I could not. It seems the K-bags are the hard cases.

I saw the K bags on the link. They seem to be identical to the GIVIs

By way of providing a little diversion, I made these water carrying bags for a friend who was heading into the desert recently:

Three litres of water per side, carried low and well forward of the rear axle. They worked well.
The DR650 is a very sensible 'chook chaser'.

(n.) A clapped out motorbike. A trail or motocross bike. Taken from motorbikes used on farms used to 'chase' chickens.
You silly Aussies!

Thanks for doing the research, Rob. Any bike set up for riding on dirt is now , generically, a chook chaser, in the modern Oz parlance. 'Roo botherers' could be a better alternative, or 'moose botherers' perhaps, for Neil.
