Bits and pieces. The money tree is bearing fruit, but at the same time my actual usable vehicles are calling dibs on that fruit. Still, plenty of low budget fun to be had. I finished processing the sump and sump extension:

Re: Leaky Carb - What to do Next
Do you have the Viton-tipped float needles in those carbs? They seal great, until they don't. I know you have only E10 gas available where you life, and that will even take out Viton over time.

Re: Needle Jet/Jet Needle Replacement ?
Yes, probably going to do that soon on Ernst. Over 30K miles on needle jet and needle and MPG is stuck on 40. Although part of that might be the very bulky Aerostich jacket. The springtime weather is improving and I wore the much slimmer Alpinestars jacket today. Although today's miles were with ...

Re: Crankshaft sprocket removal question.
Yes, quite possible to remove the crank sprocket with the engine installed. Even easier with the fork off the bike! Or at least pull the front wheel and fender.
I have a hot plate, saucepan, and some motor oil for heating the sprocket for install. If done right, it will slide on 99% of the way and ...

Re: 10 years later........
Yes, I've used the Loctite Sleeve Retainer in an application like that. It works best when it's a press fit that has deteriorated to a slip fit. It may not work if the slip fit has become a rattle fit.
