Loctite sells an aerosol gasket remover that works very well, just give it time to dissolve the adhesive.
Don't scrap and gouge the metal, let the gasket remover do it's work.

Friday afternoon I did a 40 - 50 mph high side, thanks to Aerostich, a good helmet, boots, and gloves I walked away with only a little road rash and a very sore shoulder, elbow and knee. The boots and gloves have holes worn through and the suit is in shreds. I am okay, a little sore, but no damage ...

Minnesota ...

I sent George an E-Mail recommending that he has his new brake shoes radius cut to fit the drums. You want full contact with the friction material to the drum to achieve maximum braking force. I have had this work done with Harleys that I have owned in the past.

I am amazed how little posting on the rally it's only a day away. I am packed and ready to leave Minnesota with the temps in the low 30's. Planning on taking the long route down, ride some two lanes, and eat some small town pie.

I will let the others drink the Minnesota beers and drink Boulevard out of Kansas City. While I can get Boulevard in Minnesota we pay an arm, a leg and your left nut for a 12 pack.

It is difficult for me to grasp that it has been 10 quick years from the date I traveled to Oklahoma to sleep in the woods with guy I met on the internet. I love tell people that, it freaks them out, that anyone would travel 800 miles to sleep with guys that he met on the net.
