Hi Mel .. thank you so much for your expertise.. It turned out to be a break in the hot wire that goes up through the steering yoke area. I ended up bypassing that area with a new wire and now everything works..! You steered me in the right direction from the starter relay so thanks so much for that...

Hi everyone.. I have a 1979R 65 that has been running pretty nicely for quite a while but suddenly died.. There is absolutely zero power when I turn the ignition switch on… I checked what I think are the usual suspects batteries good.. the fuses are OK.. and the ground wire to the coil bracket seems...

P.S.. Since I have no knowledge of this history am I absolved?

It turned out to be the relay.. Thanks everyone.. I also changed out the fuses while in there since I had to remove the luftmeister fairing . I'm thinking of leaving the fairing off but need to get front signals back on.. I don't have the posts, just the signal bodies that are in the fairing.. Anyon...

Thanks ..! The bike has a luftmeister fairing I'll have to take off first..I'll report back

Hi Everyone, I just bought a '76 r75.. Pretty good condition but a few problems I need advise with. Firs , when the headlight switch I'd in the head and tail lights don't work. The high beam flasher works and the tail light parking light works when switched on.. Any ideas ..? Also the bike idles rea...
